Our service packages build off of one another, enriching your child's experience and wellbeing. Though different, each package works together to preserve your child's sense of wonder - all while supporting, developing and equipping them with the physical, cognitive, social, communicative, emotional and life skills that will assist them as they grow into the wonderful individuals you are raising them to be.

KMCC+ Basic Essentials
Are you a parent or guardian looking for a loving, reliable and engaging Child Care Consultant who meets your child right where they are—at home. With the KMCC Essentials basic tier, your child receives safe, structured, fun and holistic supervision from someone who values and nurtures their comfort, creativity, curiosity and childlike joy. Whether you're working, resting, out for the evening, or need someone to help you, I offer more than just passive supervision—I bring intentional engagement, warmth, and genuine interest to every visit. 🧺 Included in The Khala KaMwana Essentials: - In-home babysitting (daytime/evening options available) - Basic play & activity supervision - Light meal/snack prep - Will bring health and allergy-conscious meals for kids who love sharing - Diaper changes, hygiene & toileting support - Bedtime prep with stories, singing and prayer to support their sleep + updates - Care for children aged 12 months to 15 years - Age-appropriate activities such: 🎨 Arts & crafts 📚 Storytime 🎲 Educational games 🎵 Creative play 💗 This service is perfect for: Parents who want their child cared for in a familiar environment. KMCC prioritizes an emotionally warm, structured, faith-informed, culturally rooted and trauma-sensitive approach to child development. 📌 Age & Pricing Policy: - Base rate: $23 for one child and $28 for two children. For 3+ children, consult me for a custom quotation. -🍼 For children under 12 months, please message me before booking to ensure I'm the right fit for your family. Infant care requires a slightly different rhythm, and I want you and your child to feel secure and supported. 🕑 A two-week trial period is encouraged to ensure compatibility between the family and caregiver -👧🏾For children aged 1.5 years to 12 years, standard pricing applies: $23 for one child. -🧑🏽🎓 For teens aged 13–15, pricing may vary based on the level of care or support needed (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or transportation). Consult me before booking if your teen will need more hands-on assistance or structured activities. If not, standard prices apply. - 📞 A free phone consultation/home visit is available at your request. Are you looking for reliable, progressive and customizable care for your child? This KMCC plan is for parents who want trusted in-home care and intentional developmental support for their child. KMCC+ is perfect for school-age children who need one-on-one specialized educational support or want to advance in their classes. KMCC + Grow and Educate is great for day-care alternative parents who want to keep young ones at home, but not compromise social exposure, education and valuable skills. This tier includes everything from the Essentials plan, plus structured activities, tutoring, homework & assignment assistance, reading support and activities, play and games that engage your child's writing, comprehension, literacy, and skills 🌱KMCC+ care plans: - All services in our Basic Essentials Tier. - Designs and creates a personalized learning plan based on your child’s age, personality, needs & goals. - Brings age/grade appropriate handouts, worksheets, games, educational materials and awareness to help your child enjoy learning. - Daily or weekly rhythm-building to boost life skills, physical health and help your school-age children build confidence in their daily life 📌 Age & Pricing Policy: - Base rate is $23/hour for one child and $28/hour for two children. For 3+ children, please reach out for a custom quote. -👧🏾 Pricing varies for different ages, developmental stages and intensity of prep, as well as difficulty of material. Please consult for custom quotations. -🧑🏽🎓 For teens aged 13–15, pricing may vary based on the level of care or support needed (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or transportation). Please get in touch with me before booking if your teen will need more hands-on assistance or structured activities. - 📲 A free phone consultation/in-home visit is available at your request - There is a 2-hour session minimum to properly observe, consult, plan and facilitate high-quality teaching, tutoring and educational support for your children. Material includes: -Crayons, pens, paper, books (writing and reading), printouts -The time it takes to prepare and customize succinct training and teaching supplies -Support with reading, writing, art, English, science, the alphabet, colours, and body parts (for toddlers). -Introduction to healthy stimulation and educative media. Note: All service offerings and pricing, including add-ons, vary based on the number of children, age, developmental stage and intensity of prep and care required.
KMCC+ SK Holistic Care
This is the SK method that transcends traditional childcare. It grows, adjusts and learns as they grow, making it completely customizable and optimal for your child to navigate through their life. If you want intentional care that doesn't passively supervise your child but stewards them, is responsible for them and provides them the foundation and tools to become the little human beings you hope they become. The Holistic care plan works because it is deeply relational and responsive to each family individually, acknowledging the beautiful differences that each kid and family has. This plan treats your child like the smart, resilient, curious and impressionable person they are and hopes to encourage and build them up in the way they should go. Our signature includes: - Thoughtfully engaging your kids in age-appropriate conversation by answering their questions and asking them questions in return. - Managing sibling dynamics with care, experience and consideration of temperaments, age and communication ability. - Works with current influences (media, school and friends) to give your child well-rounded exposure to the real world. - Tutors, teaches and assists your child in literacy, reading, comprehension and homework. - Uses positive affirmations, life-giving and educational tips to build your child up, help them through the awkwardness of puberty and their big feelings. - Provides conscious trauma-informed care to accommodate the family's varied experiences and influencing environmental factors to safely care for your child. - Uses systems, patterns and sensory-conscious approaches to help, empower, understand, and actively work with differently-abled and neurodivergent children. - Provides external material to engage children in various forms of play and entertainment. - Occasionally buys gifts for birthdays, holidays and shows up for special moments - Loves, accepts, hears and sees your children as God does.

Childcare & development for children with big feelings, those who are going through transitional periods, children who are who have varying cognitive, physical and emotional abilities, and kids who are wired differently
The KMCC + SUN care plan is focused on providing neurodivergent conscious, sensitive, and well-structured care. This tier includes customised developmental care that fosters your child's mind, big feelings, routines, patterns, challenges and growth. We work with your child's natural wiring, limitations, abilities and disability to empower, encourage, soothe, equip and enable them to cope & thrive through the many stressors of life. If this is familiar to you: systems, structure, routine, understanding, patience, stimming, sensory overload, hyperfixation, then KMCC+ is for you.
